This class was an update on how every medium had an essence to fulfill in the early stages of its trial; then becoming accessible to the general public and finally focusing on a specific demographic to target. such as magazines that where expensive to begin with then were distributed to the general public and finally focused on a target audience. Every medium though is slowly or already succumbing to the modern digital world of the internet.
The first Amendment gets thrown around a lot, but all i ever really understood it as was freedom of speech because its the right that is always broadcast on television. But reading every chapter of media ethics, media law, and global media. I got a much clearer understanding of the other rights under that amendment, how other countries are even more liberal and conservative than us.

This video is significant because in a humorous and straightforward way it answers the question we millennials used to ask a while back ago: why MTV only runs reality shows and what happened to all the music videos.
